Join me for a two-hour workshop to learn about this centuries old technique and have a go at creating your own unique marbled papers!

Marbling is the technique of floating ink onto water, styling into patterns and taking a print onto paper.  Every print is unique and cannot be repeated, it is a truly wonderful art form and one that always encourages a lot excitement from those trying it for the first time, or anyone looking for a refresher.  For these sessions we will be exploring the Japanese marbling method 'Suminagashi' which specifically uses ink on water and printing onto paper. I will start with a short introduction, followed by demonstration and then there will be lots of time to explore and have a play with the technique under my tuition and guidance.
